GEOMETRY
Course Description: This course develops geometry skills and concepts useful to all students. Students will develop their ability to construct formal, logical arguments and proofs in geometric settings and problems. This course includes congruence and similarity; the Pythagorean Theorem; basic constructions; coordinate geometry; properties of angles, parallel and perpendicular lines, triangles, special right triangles, quadrilaterals, and circles; basic trigonometric functions; and perimeter, circumference area, volume, lateral area, and surface area of common geometric figures.
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 am – 1:30 pm at Sage Creek High School. Independent learning on Mondays and Fridays with no live, synchronous instruction.
