About Us
Convenient, Affordable, Quality Care.
Kids Care delivers convenient, affordable, quality care right at your elementary school! We strive to enrich every student’s educational experience and personal development through curriculum-based programs, homework club, age-appropriate activities and more. The care of every student is our top priority. Our experienced staff is licensed through the State of California and we guarantee a student-staff ratio of 14:1. Every child is given attention and the opportunity to have a safe, fun, and inspiring experience.
Please Note: Enrollment is not guaranteed. We add students to Kids Care based on availability at the elementary school site. We are working hard to expand our program and offer the schedule and site you need.

Kids Care is the only student care programs in Carlsbad that give 100% of its proceeds back to the Carlsbad Unified School District .
NOTE: You must receive a confirmation email in order to start care. You are not enrolled until you receive the confirmation email and a confirmed start date.
Engaging, Experienced Team
Every Kids Care site has an experienced, licensed team managed by an onsite coordinator. Team members are chosen for their experience and passion for working with students. Kids Care teachers must have college course units in Education and/or Recreation. In addition, we offer ongoing training in communication, curriculum, discipline, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Kids Care is the only before-and-after school program in Carlsbad that gives 100% of its proceeds back to the Carlsbad Unified School District for programs in music, STEAM, and educational innovation that benefits every student from kindergarten through graduation. Your elementary student will experience FIRST robotics education, weekly music education, trips to Agua Hedionda Lagoon, BizTown, and more because of Kids Care proceeds.

Safety is a Priority!
Kids Care takes essential actions to create a physical environment that promotes student and staff safety through established protocols and procedures. We comply with the State of California guidelines and are aligned with the Carlsbad Unified School District. We continually monitor guidelines, update our procedures, and will inform you of any changes.
STEAM & Outdoor Activities!
Our after-school program offers academic support in line with your student’s in-person learning schedule. Once the school day is done, students engage in outdoor play, STEAM activities, and enriching experiences.
