For Students Entering Grades K-8
Carlsbad Educational Foundation offers more than 60 weeklong, half-day enrichment camps for students interested in art, robotics, gaming, and more. Campers can learn a new skill, ignite a passion, and challenge their mind all summer long.
All proceeds help fund enriching experiences in Music, STEAM, and innovation for every Carlsbad public school student!

Early Bird Discount
Receive 10% off all enrichment camps when registered by May 22!
Combo Camp Discount
Save $75/week on Summer Adventure when also attending an Enrichment Camp during the same week.
Supervised Lunch
Students enrolled in a morning and afternoon camp in the same week will have a supervised lunch from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. (packed lunch required).

Combo Camp Discount
Turn any camp into a full-day adventure. Save $75 on Kids Care Summer Adventure by attending an Enrichment Camp the same week! When booking, select the Enrichment Camp you want to attend and add the Combo Summer Adventure Camp during checkout. You’ll save $75!
Summer Enrichment Volunteers
Earn Service Hours this Summer!
Volunteer in enrichment classes to help students in our community! Volunteers support specialized camp instructors to introduce new concepts, implement materials or skills, and answer questions if needed.
Duration: June 16 – August 8
Location: Kelly Elementary School
Commitment: Every day for one week, Monday–Friday; 9am – 12 pm OR 1pm – 4pm
We are in need of volunteers for CEF-taught enrichment camps only.

Summer Program Information
Cancellations and Refunds
If any summer program is canceled by the Carlsbad Educational Foundation, a full refund will be available or a change of schedule may be made with no processing fee. The Carlsbad Educational Foundation respects the fact that life is unpredictable and that it may become necessary for you to withdraw from a summer program. In consideration to life’s uncertainties, we offer the following refund policies:
Summer Adventure
Receive a 75% refund if cancelled at two weeks prior to weekly camp start date. If cancelling within two weeks, there is no credit or refund. Weeks are non-transferable to another week. Cancellations in writing must be submitted via email to Carlsbad Kids Care: KidsCare@CarlsbadEd.org.
Summer Enrichment
Receive a 75% refund when cancellation is submitted in writing at least two weeks before any half-day enrichment camp. Full-day enrichment camps must be canceled within four weeks of the start date for a 75% refund. No credit or refund if canceling within two weeks of a camp start date. You may transfer a purchased enrichment camp to another enrichment camp of the same price for no additional charge. Cancellations must be submitted via email to EnrichmentPrograms@CarlsbadEd.org.
Summer Academy
Once a class has begun, students may withdraw by completing a Withdrawal Request Form, available online here. and emailing it to SummerAcademy@CarlsbadEd.org. Final approval for dropping a class will be given by the Carlsbad Educational Foundation.
All enrollment cancellations and refund requests must be submitted in writing to SummerAcademy@CarlsbadEd.org
Financial Aid
Carlsbad Educational Foundation awards financial assistance for Enrichment Camps and Summer Academy. A percentage of tuition assistance is discounted based on financial need and availability. Guardians must apply by the deadline assigned for each program. Applying for financial aid does not guarantee any financial aid will be awarded.
