We are not operating SOAR in the 2021-22 school year. We’re evaluating options to offer after-school homework help, enrichment classes, and recreational activities onsite at every CUSD middle school. About SOAR
SOAR is known throughout Carlsbad for its experienced staff, varied enrichment offerings, and convenient onsite location. This middle school program is part of the high-quality, licensed after-school options that the Carlsbad Educational Foundation has provided for 21 years to students in the Carlsbad Unified School District. SOAR is licensed by the County of San Diego Community Care Licensing according to State of California Title 22.
Kids Care and SOAR are the only student care programs in Carlsbad that give 100% of its proceeds back to the Carlsbad Unified School District .
Academic Help
Onsite homework helpers answer questions, prioritize deadlines, and support your student through new subjects.
Engaging Experience
Students socialize with peers and experience engaging activities and movement outside.
Convenience
Located at two middle schools in Carlsbad Unfied School District, SOAR is convenient and requires no transportation.
Reduced Price
SOAR offers a competitive monthly rate and financial assistance is available.
Engaging, Experienced Team
SOAR team members are chosen for their experience working with middle school student. Each must have college course units in Education and/or Recreation. In addition, we offer ongoing training in communication, curriculum, discipline, and First Aid/CPR certification.
