Kids Care Summer Adventure

Summer Adventure is Happening!

We are excited to offer our high-quality, licensed Kids Care in a modified format to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Weekly themed adventures allow Explorers (grades TK – 3) and Trailblazers (grades 3 – 5) to have fun in a creative way!

Themes include crafts, games, and challenges related to the topics your student loves:
Animals | Science | Space | Superheroes and more!

Register for Kids Care before attending Summer Adventure. Students must be registered prior to the start of each week.

Safety is Our Priority:

We will follow all current childcare operating guidelines provided by the State of California Department of Social Services.

Guidelines are evolving and include group size limitations, health screens, check-in procedures, and cleaning protocols.

Age-Appropriate Adventures! 

Explorers (grades TK – 3) and Trailblazers (grades 3 – 5) experience theme-centric activities that include crafts, group games, 90-minute challenges, and outdoor sports.

Register for your student’s group based on the grade they will be entering in the fall (incoming sixth-grade students are Trailblazers).

Combine with a CEF Summer Enrichment Camp! 

Attend any CEF Summer Enrichment Camp and Kids Care Summer Adventure for just $125 per week, versus the full price of $225, when combined with an on-site camp in the same week.

Refund Policy:

Rest assured, if any of our Summer Adventure and Enrichment programs are canceled for student safety, families will receive a full refund. We look forward to being on the other side of this challenging time and to a summer educating, adventuring and inspiring your students.

July 20 – July 24: Superhero Space Adventure

Grades K-3

Aviara Oaks

Explorers: Grades TK - 3

Superheroes wanted! What makes a superhero? Could there
be heroes among us right now? Campers unleash their own
superpowers through creativity and imagination. Our superheroes will learn how to work together as a team to conquer the universe!

Hitch a ride to a galaxy, far, far away! Campers will travel into space to explore what there is beyond the stars! We will build our very own solar system and learn about the different planets.

Grades 3-5


Trailblazers: Grades 3 - 5

Boom! Pow! Wham! Do you have what it takes to be a superhero? Discover the origin of your favorite superhero or super villain. What makes them so great? Campers use their imagination and utilize science and engineering to
explore how to use their favorite superhero powers.

Could these superpowers come from a different planet? Come along with us as we explore the Universe and its secrets! Campers will learn about our solar system and beyond through art and engineering projects that research space!

July 27 – August 7: Let The Games Begin!

Grades K-3


Explorers: Grades TK - 3

Calling all Engineers! Campers will engage in problem-solving and critical thinking, using math and logic to invent games of luck and skill. Create your own game pieces and play these original games with your peers!

The 2020 Summer Olympics is here! Campers will learn about the origins of the ancient Greek Olympics and play some of the original games! Campers will create their own decathlon – testing abilities, stamina, and teamwork to reach the GOLD!

Grades 3-5


Trailblazers: Grades 3 - 5

Emulating engineers, campers will have the opportunity to put on their hard hats to build games of their own design. How do you create a game of skill versus luck? Can games bring people closer together?

Go for the gold! Imagine the 2020 Summer Olympics are upon us! Learn about the origin of the Olympics starting in ancient Greece and how it has evolved. Campers create their own decathlon – testing abilities, stamina, and teamwork to reach the GOLD!

August 10 – August 21: Endangered & Extinct Species

Grades K-3

Explorers: Grades TK - 3

Each year more animals are classified endangered. What can we do to help them? Campers will strap on their safari hats and pull up their boots, diving into the world of endangered species.

Gone today … back tomorrow! Dinosaurs have long been extinct, but what would it be like if they still roamed the earth today?

Could dinosaurs live among us? Campers are going to discover how unique dinosaurs are and what kind of environments they would need to survive.

Grades 3-5


Trailblazers: Grades 3 - 5

We need to be the voice of endangered species around the world. How can we protect them from extinction? Campers will become zoologist this week and work together to create solutions to this ongoing problem.

What can prehistoric creatures from our past tell us about the creatures we have in our world today? We will explore dinosaurs and what caused extinction to understand the evolving habitats of today.
